Assessors Reorganize, Elect Three to New Positions

BELCHERTOWN — The Belchertown Board of Assessors reorganized following the election of new member Jeanmarie Leone. Craig Tommila was elected Chair, Leone was elected Vice Chair, and former Chair Loring Caney was elected Secretary and Clerk. The board approved minutes from its May 12, 2026 meeting by a 2-0 vote and signed routine motor vehicle excise warrants and commitments, plus a $6,691.58 Chapter 61 Penalty Rollback Tax warrant for 221 Aldrich Street with lien release.
