Hampshire County Registry of Deeds recorded 18 transactions tied to Belchertown properties in October, though only eight carried a disclosed sale price, ranging from $60,000 to $580,000 with a median of $155,000. The month's priciest transfer was a $580,000 recording for 119 Franklin St., with Polish National Credit Union listed as buyer. Seven of the eight priced transfers list a bank or credit union as the buyer, compared with a single individual-to-individual sale at $100,000. Several additional filings, including a dock-construction license, a certificate of compliance and a nominal-consideration family transfer, are not traditional home sales. The data shows bank-related transfers outnumbering conventional owner sales in October.
