Belchertown Communications Committee adds new member

Communications Committee · Meeting of April 23, 2026

Belchertown Communications Committee adds new member to expand to seven. Chair Chris Martin introduced Jonah Scudere-Weiss, an IT professional, who was approved unanimously to serve through June 30, 2026, raising the committee quorum from three to four. The committee heard that BCTV's public education funding will be approximately $20,000 less than the prior year as the station prepares for subscriber declines.

Work continues on the Enhanced Town Meeting Packet, 97.5 percent complete, and on an AI policy for municipal government under Town Counsel review.
