Belchertown DEI Task Force approved May 7 minutes and secured $500 in annual funding effective July 1. Chair Justine Dymond announced she is stepping down, with elections to be held at the June 4 meeting; a co-chair position will continue. The task force unanimously approved introducing its charter at the June 15 Select Board meeting, with members Joanne Land and Barry Reaves designated to attend.
The Pride flag raising ceremony is set for June 1 at 4 p.m. at Town Hall; the Pride Festival, scheduled for June 20, will include a band, food trucks, and a drag show.
