Belchertown recorded 14 property transfers with the Hampshire County Registry of Deeds between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5. Only four transactions disclosed a sale price, ranging from $22,000 to $500,000, with a median of $247,950. The period's top recorded sale was 54 Boardman St. at $500,000, sold by Lionel R. Stebbins Jr. and Jennifer K. Stebbins to Polish National Credit Union. Michael Sears Road and Poole Road each saw two transfers. Many filings involved banks, mortgage entities, or non-sale documents such as a homestead declaration and a dock license, limiting what the data shows about the open market this period.
