Belchertown records 16 deed transfers in August, most with sale prices undisclosed
Hampshire County recorded 16 property transfers in Belchertown between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only five listed a sale price, ranging from $14,971 to $160,000 with a median of $95,000. The top transaction was 47 Segur Lane at $160,000, sold by Jameson and Angela Gaspar to Freedom Credit Union. Four of the five priced sales named a bank or credit union as buyer. The remaining 11 transfers, including trust conveyances, homestead declarations and a tax certificate, carried no disclosed price, leaving most of the period's activity without a clear market value.
