Board of Assessors approves exemptions, adopts FY27 farmland values

BELCHERTOWN — The Belchertown Board of Assessors approved eight property tax exemption applications and adopted FY27 farmland valuation values. Loring Caney, Chair; Craig Tommila, Vice Chair; and Zachary Bombard, Director of Assessments, met on April 7. Tommila moved adoption of the Farmland Valuation Advisory Commission's "Average" values for Chapter 61 and 61A land; the motion passed unanimously.

One exemption application, from Brian Gibbons, was deemed denied.
