Board reopens complaint hearing; original decision upheld.
Animal Control Advisory Board · Meeting of January 23, 2026
BELCHERTOWN — The Belchertown Animal Control Advisory Board reopened and upheld its December 4, 2025 decision on a complaint against Jennifer St. Peter. Board Chair Daniel Beaudette noted that a letter postmarked December 11 prompted the new hearing, held at town hall with members Lori Carver and Cristine Mincheff present.
St. Peter did not attend; the board waited 15 minutes beyond the posted start time before voting unanimously to affirm the original determination. The board also approved prior meeting minutes and noted that a board vacancy remains unfilled despite revised recruitment materials distributed to interested parties.
