BOAT holds discussion on upcoming wellness events, youth prevention work

Belchertown Overcoming Adversity Together committee reviewed community prevention work at its February 18 meeting. Five Helping Hands youth attended the CADCA National Forum February 1-5, 2026, including Paige Dias, Hayden Bressette, Gianna Zenon, and Raquel Pagoda, and are requesting federal funding from Representative Richard Neal and Senator Warren's offices. The committee discussed the May 16 5th Annual Umbrella of Wellness Fair, which will feature 44 vendor tables, a new kids corner, and keynote speaker Chris Sullivan.

The Opioid Settlement Fund Committee is exploring Boston Ballpark Halo group funding for funeral expenses of overdose victims.
