Belchertown capital committee deferred officer elections, locked in FY28 planning schedule. With three of six members present, the Capital Improvement Planning Committee tabled its officer selection and minutes review, choosing to focus on establishing the workflow for FY28 capital projects. The committee set a $20,000 minimum dollar threshold for capital projects and scheduled an October 7 meeting to review Selectboard-recommended projects ahead of a November 9 Special Town Meeting.
The Police Department requested review of a mobile radio project prior to the STM, and the committee will meet separately in November and December with the Department of Public Works and public schools.
