Committee targets $2-3M in capital bonding for FY27

BELCHERTOWN — Capital Improvement Planning Committee sets $2-3M bonding target for municipal repairs. With $920,399 available from the current budget, including $500,000 from a voter-approved override, the committee prioritized HVAC replacements at the Fire Department, Senior Center, and Belchertown High School, along with bleacher and asbestos-tile replacement at John Fitch Middle School. The panel will review the proposed bonding list April 15 at Town Hall for presentation at the Annual Town Meeting.
