Belchertown Council on Aging backs $50K climate housing trust. The board unanimously endorsed a Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness grant program seeding a $50,000 housing trust to assist vulnerable homeowners facing climate-related challenges, rejecting a proposed community center use of the funds after learning that even preliminary plans would cost $20,000 to $30,000.
