Belchertown Cultural Council unanimously approves August soccer field location for Food Truck Friday. Chair Melanie Donovan reported that Arcpoint, which manages the venue, supports the move and will pursue a one-day special permit allowing beer sales; the council will coordinate with the Recreation Center on truck placement and work with town departments on crossing guard coverage, signage, and parking management. Kyle Tolken will contact police, and Donovan will reach out to the Department of Public Works and adjust promotional materials.
Officer Riveria also pitched a Puerto Rican heritage month event featuring food and salsa dancing, prompting Donovan to suggest a future grant application.
