Belchertown Cultural Council approves grants reception for August 24 at Arcpoint. Chair Melanie Donovan confirmed the council will staff booths at National Night Out on August 4 and the Honest Beginning Recovery Rally on August 29, and processed paperwork for artists Jay Matinka, Acousticca, and the Library's Juneteenth event. The council declined a lemonade stand request from the class of 2029 at Food Truck Friday and secured eight food trucks for the summer event, with coordination from Peter Stuart and tent support from Heidi Brunell.
The Energy and Sustainability Committee will provide recycling and composting options for the August Food Truck Friday date.
