Historical Commission approves external hard drive purchase for records.

Belchertown Historical Commission unanimously approved purchase of an external hard drive for administrative records storage. Chair Susan Tyler led commission approval of a letter of support for the Administrative Building restoration project, which attracted over one million dollars in funding toward estimated costs of up to six million dollars. The commission designated Jill Bierly and Heidi Christen to attend upcoming Lampson Brook meetings regarding historic preservation restrictions, for which the Community Preservation Committee has approved funding for a barn roof replacement.
Member Alex Loss will resign July 1, requiring election of a new chairperson at the April meeting.
