Nine deeds recorded in Belchertown, but only three carry a sale price
Hampshire County Registry of Deeds recorded nine Belchertown property transfers, all dated July 31, with none recorded through Aug. 29. Only three disclosed a sale price: $17,150 at 381 N. Liberty St., $100,000 at 55 North St., and $228,937 at 15 Old Pelham Rd., the period's top sale, with a median of $100,000. All three disclosed-price deeds named a mortgage lender or credit union as buyer. The remaining six recordings, including three homestead declarations and a mortgage modification agreement, carried no price. North Liberty Street saw the most activity, with three separate recordings. Limited price disclosure makes it difficult to characterize overall market conditions this period.
