Planning Board approves ARC Point pavilion and Meeshie Moon Path security agreement

BELCHERTOWN — Planning Board unanimously approved four land-use actions at its April 14 meeting. Chair Dan Beaudette moved approval of a site plan amendment for ARC Point Brew Company's timber pavilion on Front Street, with a reduced 15-foot rear setback under Section 145-75(E) for public safety. The board also unanimously approved a Form F-4 security covenant for the Meeshie Moon Path Subdivision with applicant Jason Lafleur, holding 12 lots in town covenant while Lafleur retains four.
An ANR for Turkey Hill and Forest Road parcels approved a conveyance consolidating commercial-zoned land for the Belchertown Economic Development and Industrial Corp., creating 3- to 10-acre industrial lots for machinery and related businesses, with septic systems planned rather than municipal sewer. The board unanimously recommended a favorable ZBA disposition on Denise Cook's special permit for overnight dog boarding, conditioned on improved project documentation and a Building Inspector determination on site plan requirements.
