Planning Board · Meeting of March 10, 2026
BELCHERTOWN — Planning Board unanimously approves Meeshie Moon Path subdivision with covenant condition. Applicant Jason Lafleur agreed to place 13 of the residential lots under town covenant, up from an initial 12, after board member Michael Hofler negotiated the increase; Lafleur retains four lots to sell immediately. The board confirmed that all engineering, conservation, fire, traffic, and highway approvals were satisfied.
In a related vote, the board unanimously recommended the Select Board decline its right of first refusal on 3.707 acres on Cold Spring Road held by the David J. Fry and Valthea M. Fry Revocable Trust, citing insufficient conservation value for state acquisition purposes.
