BELCHERTOWN — The Planning Board voted unanimously to recommend zoning bylaw amendments to special town meeting. The changes to the Schedule of Uses in the industrial zone would add permitted uses for businesses in vacant former mill buildings and include commercial parking areas requiring special permit or planning approval, intended to accommodate potential future commuter rail service to Palmer. The Board also unanimously approved two lot division applications: an ANR for Hamilton Street and Magnolia Lane, correcting the estate name on the survey after probate confusion, and an ANR for Cottage Street, modified to identify applicants as the Stephen S.
Lanphear Trust.
