Belchertown Select Board approves proclamation and flag ceremony for child abuse awareness, licenses liquor vendor, and declares snow emergency. Vice Chair Jennifer D. Turner led the meeting with board members Whitney Jorns Kuhnlenz, Nicole A.
Miner, and Jonathan Ritter present. The board voted unanimously to declare a Snow Emergency over an approximately 40,000-dollar deficit in ice removal costs, and unanimously set a 20-year useful life for a new wastewater treatment plant generator. Special and Annual Town Meetings are scheduled for May 11, 2026 at Belchertown High School, with warrant deadlines on March 17 and March 24 respectively.
