Select Board approves used-car sales license at 122 Federal Street

Select Board · Meeting of February 17, 2026

Belchertown Select Board approves used-car sales license but deadlocks on housing project letter. The Board unanimously granted a Class II license to 122 Federal Street Inc. to display up to five used vehicles with wetlands protections, but split 2-2-0 on a letter endorsing grant funding for a 105-unit apartment project at Carriage Grove, with Jonathan Ritter objecting to Community Preservation Committee involvement and Nicole A. Miner requesting more review time.

The item will return to the next agenda. The Board also unanimously approved Special Municipal Employee designations for Conservation Commission, Agricultural Committee, and Memorial Committee members to resolve overlapping service conflicts.
