BELCHERTOWN — Finance Committee unanimously approves final FY26 municipal relief requests totaling $3,331. Chair Brian Gibbons and all four voting members on July 13 backed three separate appropriations transfers: $500 to Inspection Service Wage, $2,550 to Animal Control Wage, and $281 to Assessors Wage. Town Accountant Jill Rossi reported a potential $340,896 net increase in state aid pending Governor approval of the Conference Committee's legislative budget proposal, which would require a Special Town Meeting if adopted.
