Finance Committee endorses warrant articles for May town meetings

Belchertown Finance Committee unanimously endorsed warrant articles for Special and Annual Town Meetings set for May 11. Chair Brian Gibbons and four members voted 4-0 to accept Special Town Meeting articles after eliminating a $125,000 Health Insurance Stabilization Fund item from Article 1. The committee voted 4-0 to approve housekeeping articles and 4-0 to back 17 budget, capital, and financial articles for the Annual Town Meeting.
Town Accountant Jill Rossi attended; members were assigned specific articles for presentation at the meetings.
