BELCHERTOWN — Board of Assessors unanimously approves motor vehicle and property tax exemptions. Chair Craig Tommila, Vice Chair Jeanmarie Leone, Clerk Loring Caney Jr., and Director of Assessments Zak Bombard approved two Motor Vehicle Excise Exemption Applications under the Hero Act (Nicholas J. Trudell and Jonathan E.
Scott) and 38 FY27 Property Tax Exemption Applications in an executive session held under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 30A, Section 21(a). All votes were 3-0. The board processed $9,099.30 in bills and warrants, including a $1,261.72 Chapter 61B Penalty Rollback Tax with Lien Release and motor vehicle excise abatements totaling $7,837.29 across eight lists issued between August 10 and September 8.
