Belchertown Records 12 Property Transfers in September, Most Sale Prices Not Yet Available
Belchertown recorded 12 property transfers between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3 at the Hampshire County Registry of Deeds, but only three carry a recorded sale price so far: $28,922, $200,000 and $210,000, a range that puts the median at $200,000. The top recorded sale was 261 Mill Valley Road at $210,000, involving an estate personal representative as seller. Several of the month's filings involve banks, credit unions or mortgage companies as buyer or seller, and two entries, a tax lien release and a homestead declaration, are not conventional sales. With most prices not yet available, the month's market tone is difficult to characterize from the data on hand.
