Belchertown Registry Records Show 12 Filings, Few Conventional Sales
The Hampshire County Registry of Deeds recorded 12 Belchertown filings between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26, though only five reflect a transfer between distinct buyer and seller; the rest were homestead declarations, a compliance certificate, a trust transfer and a utility filing. Of four sales with a posted price, amounts ranged from $65,000 to $300,000, with a median of $178,500. The period's top sale was 388 Old Enfield Road at $300,000. Several grantees are banks or mortgage companies rather than individual buyers, and most prices from the period had not yet posted to the registry as of this report.
