Only One Of 18 Belchertown Deeds Recorded This Period Carries A Sale Price
Belchertown recorded 18 property transfers between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19, but only one, 162 Barton Ave. at $420,000, has a posted sale price so far; prices for the other 17 typically appear within about a week. Eight of the 18 deeds list a bank or credit union as seller, transferring bank-held property to individual buyers, while others include a homeowner-to-bank foreclosure deed, two homestead declarations, a trust transfer and a municipal purchase. Sabin Street saw the most activity of any street, with three separate transfers. With most prices still pending, the period's overall market tone cannot yet be assessed from price data alone.
