Historical Commission approves prior minutes, updates trails initiative.

Historical Commission · Meeting of June 23, 2026

Belchertown Historical Commission advances trail mapping and 250th anniversary plans. Four members met June 23 to approve prior minutes and heard that trail-mapping work is underway with coordination between Gerard Miller and Michael Carolan, drawing on input from the Conservation Commission; the group identified 16 to 18 trails across town. For the September 24 flag raising ceremony at Little Fenway, invitations have gone out and Kate Nadeau will publish related content on the Stone House website.

Michael Carolan published a front-page article on a local Revolutionary War soldier in The Republican and will supply it for posting to belchertownhistory.com.
