BELCHERTOWN — Historical Commission reappoints Susan Tyler as Chair and Angela Bergeron-Alexander as Clerk. Both reappointments passed unanimously on April 28. The commission voted to draft a letter supporting library window preservation for submission to the Belchertown Historic Commission before town meeting.

Planning for the September 24 250th anniversary celebration moved forward, including plans for a $1,850 35-foot elm tree; Robert Lewis will coordinate speakers and sound equipment with the Recreation Department. The next 250th planning meeting is set for May 18 at 4 p.m.
